Things to Know

Aiyima T8

  • Headphone output output impedance is not specified but struggles with very low impedance IEMs.
  • The tube is difficult to roll (change) due to the chassis design.
  • RCA output level is slightly lower than standard 2V line level.

Fosi Audio Box X2

  • No power switch on the front (toggle switch is on the cable or back depending on revision).
  • Stock tubes (6J2) are often microphonic; upgrading to GE 5654W or Riverstone tubes is almost mandatory.
