Things to Know

Eversolo DMP-A6

  • Does not come with a physical remote control (app control or optional purchase).
  • Internal DAC is excellent, but the unit is often used purely as a streamer transport for even higher-end DACs.
  • Boot-up time is slower than a simple DAC (runs a modified Android OS).

FiiO K11 R2R

  • Measurements (SINAD) are significantly worse than Delta-Sigma DACs (intentional for the R2R sound).
  • The menu navigation via the single volume knob can be tedious.
  • Can run warm due to the number of discrete resistors involved.
