Things to Know

Eversolo DMP-A6

  • Does not come with a physical remote control (app control or optional purchase).
  • Internal DAC is excellent, but the unit is often used purely as a streamer transport for even higher-end DACs.
  • Boot-up time is slower than a simple DAC (runs a modified Android OS).

Topping D50 III

  • The PEQ software requires a Windows PC to configure initially.
  • TRS balanced outputs require adapter cables to connect to standard XLR amps.
  • The joystick control on the front is tiny and can feel fiddly.
